What we stand for!
WEP Circular is an international company with the aim of closing the plastic loop. By developing solutions that turn plastic waste materials into products, our goal is to avoid the pollution of our natural environment and create renewable circular value cycles with partners. By working in collaboration and in co-creation with partners in the whole value chain, we create circular plastic loops with the goal firstly to avoid waste and then to develop re-use solutions.

How we do!
WEP Circular focuses on creating solutions for recycling waste plastics by mechanical recycling (Plastics-to-Products) and chemical recycling for the non-recyclable waste plastics (Plastics-to-Chemicals). This is done in a circular way to avoid landfilling, incineration and waste ending up in oceans and natural environments.
To realize more sustainable ecological impact we have to work on circular business concepts from the early design phase until the commercialisation stage. WEP Circular has the knowledge and experiences in developing from early phase to production (Circular Concepts).
At WEP Circular we have experiences from R&D to upscaling in production in a practical and evidence based way to reach multiple goals for society and the environment. We like to work in equal and inspiring collaborations in the value and supply chain, and we work with knowledge partners to create more awareness and solutions for a circular society.
At the moment we work intensively with knowledge partners in pyrolysis, depolymerization and plastic reused materials as Poznan Technical University and Wroclaw University. And we work with several producers and partners in the supply chain.
We like to work with young people to stimulate and inspire them and ourselves, so we support internships and study programs. We have already had students from Technical University Delft and Hogeschool Rotterdam, and we are open for new internships.

Chemical recycling is repurposing plastic waste to obtain oil, which can be used to create new plastic materials and also energy. Plastic to Chemicals is a great solution for non-recyclable waste plastic that usually ends up in landfills or being incinerated.
